Was NPR right to fire Juan Williams because he said he gets "nervous" whenever he sees people in "Muslim garb"?

No and not only did Juan not say anything wrong, neither did Oreilly. If a group of wolves, destroyed someones backyard, then you would say, " the WOLVES did it". If it wasn't just the wolves, then you would say , the wolves did it and so did the Hyena's. The same with the terrorist attack. It wasn't Muslim's and Christians and also Buddhist. They WERE MUSLIMS, plain and simple.
