Ipod help please? :]?

my ipod says it needs to be connected into itunes but when i connect it into itunes it says the restore could not be completed. I've tried using two different computers and then i tried putting it back to DFU mode but it still came up with the sign that needed to be put into itunes what am i meant to do?? xx :)
