I'm dealing with unforgiveness towardsomeone in my family. I rather not go into detail about it to long of a?

story. I know what the Bible says about forgiveness and stuff like that. Something doesn't seem fair though, I see it as you just forgive the person and not worry about it. But the person your supposed to forgive just gets away with whatever he/she's done. Do they get punished for their wrongdoing later on or what? It just doesn't seem right that when you forgive them and that's it,they don't get in trouble or whatever. Have you ever thought about it this way?
