Why are so many areas in Glasgow named after hills?

i've always wondered about that kind of thing too, i live in a crater and none of the hills surrounding it are called 'anything-hill', just the hole in the middle

Yes, I think so. Reason being--with the rising energy prices, fewer and fewer highways are being built. Consequently, having to take "your" highway vs. a toll road limits the global awareness of a dynamic economy. Make sense?

Yet another chemistry question!?

The question this time is: " Identify the two bases out of sodium hydroxide, potium nitrate, sodium chloride, lithium carbonate, sodium phosphate, and bariu sulphate" I know that sodium hydroxide is an alkali (which I think means a base) but I dont know how to find out whether a substance is acidic or alkaline! can someone help me find the other answer and an explanation of how you got the answer would be helpful as I have my chemistry exam tommorow!!!! Question to those who know a lot about Siberian Huskies.?

There is a such thing as a "wooly" Siberian, although a reputable breeder would not try to continue the trait. There is nothing wrong with the dog, the only drawback is the extra hair and he cannot be shown. Big deal. My first siberian had longer guard hairs, although he was not a wooly, and my current siberian has a very short coat compared to him. Enjoy your dogs for who they are not how long their hair is. And no, your pup is not blowing his coat, he's not old enough yet, but when spring rolls around, be prepared b/c they will both be shedding like crazy. Good Luck!!

Hair droping/breaking!!!! HELP!!!?

Okay, my hair is about 5 inches past my . I like the length of my hair so no way a sissorse is coming near me! My hair has recently started droping and breaking really easy when I try to untangle it. I don't wanna go bald! Any suggestions would be appreciated except cutting it!
